I’m looking for the best or one of the best free web hosting services. One that is free of ads and I want to build my Site from Scratch. I know my share of HTML so I would like to start with a "blank peice of the internet." I would also like to have a small forum. I know it’s alot to ask but i’m sure there is one out there. Much Help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Jason,

I’m betting that you’re a brand newbie, or you wouldn’t have asked for the impossible – free service with no ads.

In the so-called free web hosting services, you’ll either get one with really no ads, but they’ll "force" you to register a domain name at $15 – $35 up front if you want to get their "free" hosting. That actually will cover for their "free" hosting with no ads. The other type you need not pay a single cent, but they’ll put up ads on all your pages at the most prominent positions.

There’s bound to have a catch somewhere. Here’s my advice:

If you’re building a non-profitable site to share, then go with the latter free service since you don’t pay a penny, though you get annoying ads on your pages.

But if you’re creating websites to make money, even if you’re just getting started building a brand new website from scratch, it’s good to get a paid web hosting service.

Below I’ll send you to a good article "Best Web Hosting Service For Internet Beginners" at ezinearticles.com that you can take a read, please refer to the source below.

You should gain a deeper insight into what’s actually good for you, even as a beginner.

Hope that helps ;)

How does one start a website hosting? Do you need to have a special license? ….like Yahoo! is a search engine did they have to acquire a license to provide geocities for web builders?
I don’t mean how do you start a website – I mean, how does one start a website host, like a website that will host other websites.

Here are some websites and web documents on how to start a web hosting business. These websites give you information on how to set up your own web hosting business:

HostingResolve.com’s Starting a Web Hosting Business

Becoming a Web Host Company

HostLibrary.com’s Starting a Web Hosting Business

Another way of course is to simply become a reseller of a web hosting company, which is easier to start. Many hosting companies offer private label programs where you use their infrastructure but you can brand the business with your company name. An example of how this goes is Hostway’s Private Label program http://www.hostway.com/resellers/private_label_program.html

Type of business: Beauty and cosmetics

I would like a web hosting site that is:
afforable
easy to use (edit, design, etc.)
Is for businesses so it will accept credit/debit
has a lot of free space to use!

Thanks!

winninghosting.com is great. They are barebones like google was. They just focus on great service and have a super helpful staff. They know how to keep their costs way down but still have all the speed and great features you need so I always go with them and am always very pleased.
